Air Force Discovery Lowers Blood Pressure!
From the War Room to Your Living Room:
Discover how a fighter jet led to lower blood pressure.
G-LOC?
Gravitational Induced Loss of Consciousness. This is better known as blackout and it led to lower blood pressure. It is a problem with modern fighter aircraft The F-16, commissioned by the United States Air Force, implemented a new technology that changed the maneuverability of combat aircraft. This computer-controlled technology (fly by wire) increased the ability of planes to turn, twist and perform contortions in the air. In fact pilots say that you don’t fly an F-16, but that it flies you! This all translates to a plane that increases the demand on the pilot’s body—namely blackout from G-Force. But blackout led to accidental discovery.
G-Suite and Hand Grip and an Accident
To control blackout researchers developed the G-Suit. Simply, the G-Suit helps to keep blood in the brain and from pooling in the feet. But, the F-16 was proving that it was a bit too much and more was needed. Hence our researchers were called. They increased G-Force tolerance with a computer-monitored handgrip, job done. But, they found that some of the pilots had a steady drop in blood pressure. Our researchers were able to take this data and duplicate it with lots of people, young and old. Over and over. For twenty years. The idea worked, but getting into your hand, literally, proved to be a problem.
From the size of a house to the palm of your hand.
When researchers were studying this G-Force technology in 1969 they had the new cutting edge technology of computers to help them design the perfect protocol for the Zona Plus therapy. However, these computers were huge and the technology had not been proven. Over the next three decades as computers began to shrink, researchers were able to study the Zona Plus therapy and maximize its benefits. The result was a hand held device that can be used anywhere, anytime and utilizes a therapy that reduces blood pressure on average of 27 points.
